I'm so sorry for not blogging as much... I'm just in this season where I feel like I have nothing to blog about. So weird.
But I've been in Jackson for the last two weeks and it's been really great to see everyone (as always!) I'm entering into a new season of life, and I'm really excited about it. The Lord is really bringing NEW things into my heart and just new truths about who He is and who He has called me to be. So i'm really excited about that...
i'm reading a really awesome book called "Sacred Singleness" by Leslie Ludy. It's about laying down your life and your own desires- even the desire to get married (GASP!) and allowing the Lord to be your first love. I'm loving it so far. I'm only on page 40 or so, but I am learning a lot about what it really means to be consecrated to the Lord and to truly live out my faith. I encourage ALL single girls to read it! (whether you're 15 or 60)
Well, I don't really have much else to say. Beautiful weather today- i laid out by the pool and read my amazing book and listened to some awesome worship music and Maggie Eckford ... you guys should check her out! she is so talented and SUCH a cute girl! Her album "For What It's Worth" is on itunes and EVERY song is so great. She is so unique.
