I am a really awful blogger. Sorry, guys. I don't even have an excuse; I just don't do it. But I like to. It's a strange thing.

My precious baby sister turned 7 yesterday! I really cannot believe she is this old. She woke up super early (of course), and she proceeded to wake me up too with the infamous "where's mom?" My answer is always the same... "She took Tristan to school. She'll be back soon" Then came "I'm 7. it's my birthday!" She's a cute one, and she's incredibly sassy. (as you can tell in the image below)

It has been a very long time since I have been to jackson/ seen my friends and i am going crazy! i miss Jacksonians terribly. I will be there soon though!! (a week from today).

I am really learning what it means to live a lifestyle of Love. I'm learning the importance of spiritual discipline, as well. I want to know the Lord more intimately, and I want to go deeper in worship. In order for these two things to take place, I must spend time with Him. i WANT to spend time with Him. I was just really undone this easter season, just really in awe and really thankful for the cross. I was more aware of His mercy than I've ever been this year. Some of my favorite moments in worship are when I can't even sing because I am so in awe of the Lord, which usually means lots and lots of tears. Easter Sunday, our church that we've been visiting, Brownsville Assembly of God, sang "Happy Day"... love it! but I couldn't even sing. The entire church was dancing and praising Jesus for the day He washed our sins, and I just cried. He is so beautiful.

I am PRAYING for a rainy day tomorrow... It has been way too long since we have had rain. We have foggy days a lot, but it hardly ever rains. I need a good rain. I love it.

Oh, wow I can't believe I almost forgot to blog about this. Kari Jobe is a worship leader/ recording artist out of Dallas, Texas and I have just been really impacted by her ministry and her heart for the Lord. She is friends with one of my mom's friends from highschool (i'll call her N), and my mom recently talked to N about how much i love Kari's ministry and music. Well Kari went to Australia (where N lives) for a conference, and they spent some time together... N asked her to sign a picture for me and THIS is what she wrote me.

Needless to say, this is going to be framed and cherished forever. It is such a blessing to me. :)

GOOD NEWS. my computer works again. I was just having trouble connecting to our wireless router. it was ridiculous it has been super foggy in Florida the last week or so.. NOT fun! i am so ready for it to be pretty again. My sister and I both got Nook colors for Christmas and they came in the coolest boxes. We kept them, but didn't know what to do with them. The other day we were debating on throwing them out. I suggested we throw them out (trying to cut out the hoarding tendency early in life) but she said to keep them. So we decided to make a project out of them... i finished mine, but she, of course, only finished the front. i will post pictures of mine later! I have decided to keep letters, pictures, etc in mine. sooo I know I have talked about Maggie Eckford before on here and her AMAZING debut album which contains the title track "For What It's Worth" and eight other beautiful songs. You must get it! you will not be sorry. I promise!! Welllll she and her band have recently posted a cover of "Bleeding Love"(made popular by Leona Lewis)... I first heard her cover at her show in Jackson and have been waiting for her to post a video of it. In my opinion, her cover is MUCH better than the original. From her voice to the unique arrangement, it is perfection. i hope you all have had a very restful Sabbath... (that's what it's for!) and i hope your week is filled with many many blessings!! "Rejoice in the Lord always." I've really been thinking about this lately. Always. Always. No matter what. In all seasons. :) jo
